October 28, 2025 – Shenzhen YIVTOL Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. presented its third-generation flying car, the YIVTOL S-ZERO, at the "Exploring a New Carbon-Free Future – 2025 Shenzhen International Low-Carbon City Longgang Scenario Exhibition." The model, which had previously been displayed at the 2025 Dubai International Low-Altitude Economy Expo, attracted immediate interest from an overseas buyer who placed an on-the-spot order impressed by its advanced design.
“Our low-altitude vertical aircraft is currently being used mostly in scenic areas,” stated a YIVTOL representative. “Thanks to its user-friendly operation and high safety standards, it has gained strong interest from tourism sites.” Locations such as the Luoyang YIVTOL Star Capsule Camp, Chengdu Eastern New Area Low-Altitude Economy Demonstration Center, Wuhan Longyang Lake Flight Camp, and Shenzhen Shekou Value Factory have already introduced the aircraft to offer visitors aerial sightseeing experiences. During the low-carbon exhibition, several other scenic area operators also expressed interest in cooperation.
The YIVTOL S-ZERO flying car features a titanium alloy body, with a total weight of only 110 kg. Its foldable wings make it highly portable and easy to transport. The aircraft supports rapid battery replacement in just two minutes, carries a maximum payload of 90 kg, and offers a flight endurance of approximately 30 minutes. An upgraded model, the S-ONE fourth-generation eVTOL, incorporates an innovative ducted power structure that enhances safety by eliminating exposed propellers while improving power efficiency and reducing noise.
Notably, although YIVTOL was established only in October 2024, its products have already been deployed in urban commercial pilot projects across four Chinese cities and have begun generating revenue. The company has also established five overseas sales channels in Europe, the Middle East, and other regions. In September 2025, it obtained China’s first special flight certificate for an ultra-light eVTOL.
YIVTOL’s R&D team is led by renowned experts including Academician Xiang Jinwu of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Academician Wu Zongze, Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering. Collaborating with more than 20 Ph.D. researchers from Beihang University and Shenzhen University, the team is dedicated to developing proprietary manned aircraft and intelligent aviation systems. The company operates a 6-million-square-meter test flight base and possesses full-chain production capabilities, from component processing to final assembly. Its application scenarios span cultural tourism, emergency response, and urban logistics.
